Graeme Clarke, Founder & CEO
Graeme Clarke is the founder and CEO of PROJECT Clothing, a global sporting apparel company that is redefining performance wear for athletes.
Graeme’s deep-seated sporting knowledge and his sport-specific approach to product development has seen demand for custom and retail items grow throughout Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Canada.
Graeme’s has dressed AFL umpires, Athletics Queensland, ACT and Tasmania, Stawell Gift athletes, plus triathletes, cyclists, swimmers, runners, and partnered with Shane Warne to create the SW23 range. Winning the world-wide tender for the 2017 World Masters Games – within just four years of PROJECT Clothing’s launch – marks one of Graeme’s career highlights.
Winning? It isn’t a marker of success.
It’s not by how much or how often we defeat our opponents, but how we outperform our personal achievements that are true markers of success. It’s our willingness to aim higher when we’re convinced we’ve reached our limits.
OUR BIGGEST WINS ARE YOURS.
I didn’t establish a global performance compression and sports apparel company to out-perform my competitors.
I’m in this game to improve sports clothing stitch by stitch, so our customers can perform better than ever before. Our cuts and styles, innovative fabrics and our relentless pursuit of state of the art technology mean optimum comfort and ultimate performance. And our garments are tested on our ambassadors, loyal customers - even by our staff on their lunch breaks - so you can feel like an athlete before you’ve started your warm-up
IT’S THE ONE PERCENTERS THAT COUNT.
When you’re designing custom team sports uniforms, the one-percenters add up to big results.
While your new range is tailored to your code’s specifications, colours and sponsors, you'll be supported by our deep-seated sporting knowledge and all the technical advice you can handle. A tight-knit network and experienced supply chain means team uniforms delivered on time, every time. Our streamlined ordering process allows members and supporters access to a private online store complete with a safe payment gateway, minus the administrative hassles. And our personal service in a world of DIY online design programs? It’s a perfect 10.
THERE’S MORE THAN ONE SPORT, SO WE PLAY IN MORE THAN ONE FIELD.
There’s specific training for each sport; it makes sense that there are sport-specific garments.
Because archers are disqualified for exposing skin on their stomach when shooting their arrow, our archery shirts are long enough to tuck in. Because you’ll need somewhere to stash your hotel swipe card when you’re running your next marathon, our running shorts feature an internal pocket. Spectators? We’ve got them covered too. All pockets on our casual shorts pass the Goldilocks test – not too long to retrieve your phone; not too short that it falls out when you’re sitting down to watch your favourite match.
BECAUSE WE’RE ON YOUR TEAM.
In the dug-out with the elite players, in the rooms before a game, or on the MCG as umpires warm up in our uniforms – these are my best days. Meeting the Vanuatu beach volleyball players post-win at the Commonwealth Games, training with the Gold Coast Suns in Arizona, seeing PROJECT Clothing become collectible merchandise of the World Master’s Games. Advising athletes, inventing new products, hearing feedback – then aiming higher.
I’m in this game for the same reasons you’re out on the track, in the ring, or on the field, pushing yourself to your limits, losing sleep over tactics, risking it all to your opponent.
For the experiences money can’t buy.
For that once in a lifetime feeling.
For a shot at success.
